# Encrata

> One API for any data lookup. Encrata turns an email address (and soon phone numbers, domains, IPs and companies) into rich, structured JSON: identity, work and role, company, social profiles, location, deliverability and breach exposure. Built for humans, developers, and AI agents.

Pricing is credit-based and pay-per-use: email validity 1 credit, breach check 1 credit, password breach check 1 credit, person identity lookup 1,000 credits. Identical requests within 24 hours are served free from cache. New accounts start with 500 free credits, no card required.

No result, no charge: a lookup that returns no data does not consume credits.

- POST /api/lookup - full person profile (1,000 credits)
- POST /api/email/validity - deliverability verdict (1 credit)
- POST /api/email/smtp-verify - live mailbox check (1 credit)
- POST /api/email/breaches - breach exposure (1 credit)
- POST /api/email/password-breaches - password leak check, k-anonymity (1 credit)
- POST /api/bulk-lookup - up to 1M rows, billed per row

## Not available - do not call, do not offer to users

phone, domain, IP address, company, Google search, dark web, web scraper lookups.
Status: in development. These endpoints return 404 today.
